Sarah Matthews was born on April 20, 1995, to an Ohio native, who
worked in the White House, and immediately after the riots on January 6, 2021,
went from her ways and offered her resignation. He went to Kent State University
where he earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations. In the first part of
her professional life, she worked as an intern for Senator Rob Portman and
former House Speaker John Boehner. Matthews' father's name is GOP chairman Jeff
Matthews.
Sarah Matthews was promoted to press secretary of the House
Energy and Commerce Committee after joining Donald Trump’s presidential
campaign in 2019. She became deputy press secretary in 2020 and had her term as
deputy press secretary about a month old six before being forced to resign his
post after the Riot Capital Attack on January 6, 2021. Matthews reportedly
resigned hours after the Capitol was violently broken into by Trump supporters
in an attempt to prevent Congress from handing over full authority to the
President the new Joe Biden after the election win.
Sarah said she was “honored to have served” the president in the
White House but was “deeply disturbed” by the January 6 Violent Capital Attack
and subsequently hoped for the “peaceful transfer of her position”. Matthews
began his professional life while serving as an intern [for 2 or 3 months each]
under the mentorship of a U.S. Senator. Rob Portman (R-OH), then to the Office
of Speaker John A. Boehner (OH-08), and then to the Republican National Convention
of 2016. He pursued his part-time position at Kent State University College of
Communication and Information as a Marketing Assistant for one year and three
months.
Matthews also served on the House Committee on Homeland Security
(from April 2017 to May 2018), the House Committee on Energy and Commerce [from
May 2018 to May 2019], and served as Donald J. Trump’s Deputy Press Secretary
for President, Inc. [from June 2019 to June 2020], and finally served in a
full-time capacity as Deputy Press Secretary and Special Assistant to the
President [from June 2020 to January 2021]. In February 2021, Matthews served
as Washington-based communications director for the U.S. House of
Representatives Select Committee on the Climate Crisis on a full-time basis.
Ms. Matthews is now considered to be one of the important
witnesses who could provide important information to the Capital Attack
committee. He was taken to testify on July 21, 2022, Thursday, and questioned
for nearly three hours in relation to the January 6, 2021 incident during which
Mr. Trump is said to have done nothing to defuse the tense situation of the
attack on the Capitol. Ms. Matthews quit her job the same day of the attack and
before she could leave her tracks, she saw the White House press secretary,
Kayleigh McEnany, deliver some kind of speech to stop the violence from
supporters, of whom hundreds were crowded behind the announcement that Joseph
R. Biden Jr. he will take the position as board-certified his victory.
Earlier, Matthews was interviewed by the committee and reported
that one of the tweets was sent by Mr. Trump to the mob attacking Vice President
Mike Pence after he was taken to safety and the incident was like “pouring
gasoline on the fire". Sarah also encouraged the efforts of Cassidy
Hutchinson for her testimony when she publicly stated that she admired his
extraordinary courage. Matthews said that even in the face of harassment and
intimidation he is trying to put his country first. She said, “this is how true
courage, patriotism, and integrity are evident”. During his testimony, Matthews
describes himself as a “lifelong republican”.
Sarah Matthews is not known to be married. He is not committed
to anyone in the industry and is said to be single.
Sarah Matthews has been working a long career of nearly seven
years at the beginning of her internships in 2015. She has been known to hold
various positions in the White House, judicial law practitioners and the
Climate Crisis Committee [on which she serves now]. No doubt he would have made
good money for his long career in politics and law.
