American basketball player Victor Oladipo plays for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before that, he was affiliated with Indiana Hoosiers in his college. Oladipo was selected second overall in the NBA in 2013. It was traded to Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016 and then to Indiana Pacers in 2017, and has received honors such as NBA All-Star First, All-Defensive First Team, All-NBA Third Team NBA Most Improved Player while playing for Indiana.

Victor Oladipo was born in 1992 in Silver Spring, Maryland, and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, but later moved to Upper Marlboro, Maryland, where he spent his adulthood.
Oladipo's mother's name is Joan Amanze Oladipo, a Registered
Nurse by profession, and his father is Christopher Oladipo, who emigrated from
Nigeria and worked as a Public Health Officer for Prince George County,
Maryland.
His father received his doctorate. Doctor of Behavioral Sciences
from the University of Maryland and later returned to the United States in 1985
and raised his extended family by marrying Oladipo's mother.
Oladipo grew up with his three sisters, one is named Kristine, who was born in 1986, the other is called Kendra and who was born in 1990
and was deaf in second grade, and the third was twin sister Victoria.
Victor went to Indiana University Bloomington and chose to only play with the right team. He received an education in sports and communications broadcasting after turning down various other offers from Notre Dame, Maryland, Xavier, and others.
In the 2010-11 season, he played a total of 32 games from five starts, averaging 7.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.06 steals in 18 minutes per game. He made his career debut when he faced Penn State on December 27, where he scored 14 points in a 5v9 shootout, three steals, four rebounds, and two assists in 27 minutes.
He appeared and started 36 games later in 2012–13, averaging 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.17 steals, and 2.1 assists. In the final season of his junior year, he received various awards, including the Sporting News Men's College Basketball Player of the Year, National Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and All-American First Team from USBWA and Sporting News.
On March 25, 2021, Oladipo was sold to the Miami Heat. He has
previously worked with various NBA teams including the Orlando Magic (2013-16),
Oklahoma City Thunder (2016-17), Indiana Pacers (2017-21), Houston Rockets
(2021), and most recently Miami Heat (later 2021).
He was dealt to the Miami Heat for two additional players, including Kelly Olynyk and Avery Bradley. On April 1, 2021, he made his debut for the team, defeating the Golden State Warriors with a result of 116-109 on aggregate, where in 23 minutes he had 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.
On May 13, he had to quit his games due to surgery on the right quadriceps tendon. He later re-signed with the Miami Heat on August 7, 2021, extending it for at least one year. On March 7, 2022, he returned to the Miami Heat after an injury when he played against the Houston Rockets and scored 123-106 on aggregate with a victory in hand.
