2021. In 2018, Judge Scherer came under the spotlight, criticizing reporters
from The South Florida Sun Sentinel for publishing news on the history of Mr.
Cruz's therapy.
She ruled on prosecution
in many important cases. She recently made headlines as she was involved in the
Parkland School Shooting Trial. Cruz is guilty of killing 17 people at Marjory
Stone Man Douglas High School in 2018. After she sent a note to prosecutors
about a defense attorney meeting at which Mr.Cruz was in prison, she was asked
to remove her from the case. Due to other complications, the Cruz process is
delayed for a week.
