Ketanji Brown Jackson was born on September 14, 1970, and is 52 in 2022. Ms. Jackson was born in Washington and grew up in Miami, Florida, from where she moved to Harvard University and enrolled in one of the world's most famous colleges and law schools. Nonetheless, she also pursued her profession as an editor at the Harvard Law Review. Jackson's parents were historically graduates of black colleges and universities.

Her father's name is Johnny Brown, and he was the principal attorney of the Miami-Dade County School Council. Her mother's name is Ellery, and she was the director of the New World School of the Arts. Therefore, preparing to become an educated and loud personality was not a big deal for Jackson.

Jackson grew up in Miami where she attended Miami Palmetto High School in the 1988, Country debates tournament. After high school, Jackson studied government at Harvard College, graduating in 1992 with an AB magna cum laude degree.

She then began working as a reporter and researcher for Time Magazine from 1992 to 1993 before enrolling at Harvard Law School where she began overseeing the editorial board of the Harvard Law Review. In 1996, Jackson received his Doctor of Laws cum laude.

She began her professional career working in three positions, including for Stephen Breyer, a deputy judge of the US Supreme Court. Before Ketanji Brown Jackson received his official position in the Court of Appeals, he served as a district judge in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Jackson also served as vice chairman of the US conviction committee from 2010 to 2014. She then became a member of the Harvard Board of Overseers in 2016.

From 1996 to 1997, Jackson served as a clerk of Judge Patti B. Saris in the United States District Court for Massachusetts District, then from 1997 to 1998, she worked for another judge, Bruce M. Selyi, of the US First Circuit Court of Appeals by he practiced private law for several months at the law firm Miller Cassidy Larroca & Lewin.

From 1999-2000 she worked as a clerk of Judge Stephen Breyer of the Supreme Court of the United States. In the years 2000-2003, she worked in a private law firm and practiced law practice. In 2009, Jackson was nominated by President Barack Obama as vice-chairman of the US Convictions Commission until 2014. During her tenure, she would carry out her duties in maintaining the cocaine-related crime policy area.

In September 2020, Jackson was nominated as a judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. During her tenure, Ketanji Brown Jackson worked on various memos and several decisions related to the positions of the Trump administration.

Jackson went through various appointments and positions to become a potential candidate for the United States Supreme Court and was one of five candidates interviewed for a vacancy following the death of former attorney Antoninus Scalia. On February 25, 2022, she was nominated by Joe Biden as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
