Incident Detail
According to the police, Beesley approached a
fellow inmate and made him an offer. He posted a prisoner bail to get him out
of prison, after which the man would have to murder the victim, Beesley's
ex-girlfriend. In addition to bail, Beesley offered and promised to give the
prisoner extra money, gifts, and much more.
Beesley then issued his own new bond which now
stood at $ 100,000 and was released from the bond. However, the inmate, who was
presented by Beesley, informed the deputy sheriff of Charlevoix County Jail
about what had happened and what the accused's plans were. After receiving new
information from Beesley demanding the murder of his previous victim, the
authorities contacted the Michigan state police about the matter.
In trying to track him down, the police soon
found out that Beesley's leash was defective and that the accused could not be
located. However, they concluded that he must have lived with his new
girlfriend in Traverse City, where he was found and then arrested after a
homicide warrant was issued and bail was violated. Previously, Beesley's
misdemeanors, according to
Michigan Department of Corrections records, included
allegations such as trespassing into a car and a break-in from a building.
