Trey Cunningham was born on the 26th of August 1998 and was raised by his loving and caring parents named Brad and Shelly Cunningham. He spent his childhood with his brother Brad and Susan in his hometown. Trey is an extremely versatile performer who, in addition to long and triple jumps, runs in athletics. He also received the Alabama State Champion from Winfield City High School 24 times. He is the type of person who won the top 20 individual titles in high school.

Trey signed with Florida State and broke his first U20
world record twice in the 2017 New Balance Indoor National Championship on 60m
hurdles. However, midway through his career, he was constrained by his
injuries, which left him immobilized during the open-air season. Despite
playing indoor and outdoor athletics, he played basketball for three years and
two years in cross country. He has also received membership in the National

Trey was placed sixth at the NCAA Indoor Championships,
achieving a running record of 7.74 in the final in 60-meter hurdles. He is also
a winner of the ACC 60 Hurdles and was named ACC Freshman of the Year for the
second time in the 2018 season.
Trey finished the NCAA Indoor Championship and was placed
in the best position with a record of 7.64, and later qualified as the
second-fastest personality in the qualifying rounds. He also received the
second ACC indoor championship in a row, and later set a record in the
conference championship. During the season, he achieved the best result of his
career with 100 (10.64) and 200 (21.27) at the Crimson Tide Invitational.
Trey received the Track Performer of the Year and
Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards and later achieved his best personal
accomplishments, ranking as the best 60-meter hurdles in the country. He
achieved his best result of the season at the Tiger Paw Invitational, where he
set a record time of 7.51 and set the second-best record, for ACC and FSU.
He first opened the Gamecock Opener season where he hit a
time record of 7.64 in the first of many 60-hour events. During his appearances
at the Tyson Invitational, he won the 60H (7.55) and won the fourth ACC Indoor
Athletics Championships in a row.
In the 2022 season, he qualified for the NCAA Outdoor
Championships, where he achieved a personal best of 13.07 (-1.5). Thanks to his
achievements, performances, and hard work, he became the sixth fastest man in
the world and made 110-meter hurdles in history. He won the ACC title for the
second consecutive season with 110 m hurdles and the best time of 13.16.
